No Volume Control

A night that all the kids look forward to every September.. The BBQ and Meet the Teacher night!  We got there in the nick of time - got the last 5 burgers (though on hot dog buns LOL).  We started with the oldest, and worked our way down.   Kat's teachers are both new to us.  Both say that Kat is doing great.  What we were both surprised about is that we didn't get the typical comment that Kat is talking too much in class!  Wow!   She is saving her talking until lunch and recess!   Next Ellie's.  We started with her English teacher who is new to us.  It's a split 3/4 class, which is perfect for Ellie.  Her teacher thought Ellie was a great kid.  We gave our normal "new teacher" speech about Ellie - feel free to push her, she can handle it! :)  And with it being a split class, it'll be easy  to find work for her to do if necessary.  Ellie's french teacher is starting her 4th year teacher a Dubord girl, so not much to talk about there.   Dany's teachers are all the same..  But by golly did they have great reviews about her.  She is talking more, she is readily answering questions, she is more open, she is a great role model to the JK'ers.  This is great, because last year, she was such a quiet little girl in class. 

All the girls have adjusted well to their school routines, and are all doing great! :)
