No Volume Control

7 years ago (at 7:31pm), I gave birth to my first baby. 7 years ago, my life changed when we grew from just two unmarried people to a family. She was a complete surprise, completely unplanned, but she was the best thing that could have happened to us, and she started us on the road to where we are now.

And now, she turns 7 years old, and I truly cannot believe that my little baby is 7!

Today she is in Grade 1! She is a social butterfly and makes friends with everyone that she comes in contact with. She is very smart, and is part of her class' advance reader group. She can be a little overly dramatic, and overly sensitive. She is very emotional as well. She loves her family and her animals. She is nervous when it comes to new things, but with reassurance she is willing to give it a try. She loves music and her favourite stars include the typical "teen stars" like Hannah Montana, HSM stars, Jonas Brothers.. But she also likes stars like Brad Paisley, Colbie Caillat, Mika, Great Big Sea, Paramore - just to name a few. She is getting an ear for music just like her Daddy has.

Here she is just a week old...
And look how much she has grown.. 7 years old!!!!
