No Volume Control

Just want to send out many thanks for all of Ellie's birthday presents... I apologize for not getting out thank you cards, but it keeps getting pushed back on the "to do" list because of the bedroom makeovers (in the middle of Kat's right now), and the sicknesses just not leaving the house. But I can tell you that Ellie adores each and every thing that she got. :)

And a quick update about specialists. Steph saw a specialist a week or so ago for his "chronic pneumonia". Good news is the specialist seems very thorough and wants to find the reason for Steph's pneumonia. Bad news (or at least neutral news) is he got told pretty much nothing at the appointment. A few opinions of what it could be was written on his CT scan form, but without googling them, its hard to know what each mean, and i refuse to google something because it always comes back with the worse case scenario. So now we wait for the CT scan appointment (which hasn't been booked yet - specialist said we would receive a call within 2 weeks, so time is ticking), and we then wait for the results. Best (or worse depending on how you look at it) case scenario is it's something to do with the structure of the lungs which means that nothing can be done except getting the flu shot, the pneumonia shot, and vitamins.
