Kat's turn. :) Her report card came home on Monday. She is "at her grade level" in everything. Which translates to straight B's on the report card. Her written reports are very positive. (they are much too long to rewrite, but they are very good, only a couple of weaknesses ("trying to read too quickly", "colouring nicely in the lines at all times").

On Thursday we went to the school for the "student led interviews". Basically, we sit down with our child and she shows us all of the stuff that she has done during the year so far. We ask her questions, and she tries to answer them. And then we have a quick one on one with her teacher. Both her english and French teachers said the same things.. Kat is a joy to have in their class, she is learning very well, and participates well in class.. And she tends to need reminders to stop talking to her friends at quiet work time, or during circle time. But generally, she tends to quiet down after the first warning, so it's definitely improving.

We could see in her work that she is definitely improving as the year goes by. Her writing is getting better, the things she is learning are getting more complex, and you can tell she is really enjoying it. She is very proud of her work.

Way to go Kat!!! :)
