We had a very good Halloween night. First time in this house, so weren't sure how the trick or treating would go, but i can say it was a fantastic success.

Our Pumpkin. It was my first year carving a more elaborate pumpkin, so didn't get too detailed, but it's a window with 3 ghosts looking out. :)

And our girls all dressed up!!

First Ellie as a beautiful Butterfly Fairy!

Then Kat as a beat up hockey player.. She was going to go as Hannah Montana, but after losing both her front teeth a couple of weeks before Halloween, we convinced her to go as a hockey player, cause it's a rare occasion that you can do it while missing your teeth. ;)

And finally, our crazy little monkey girl!!! Dani had a BLAST this halloween. She really got into it. And throughout the entire time trick or treating, she was acting like a monkey - talking and walking like one. At several houses, she got comments of how cute she was.. and on more than one occasion we heard, as we were walking down the driveway, "that was the cutest kid of the night".

Here are Ellie and Kat knocking on one of the doors.. Couldn't get a good pic of the three of them because either Steph or I had to help Dani up most of the stairs - or just had to help her keep up with her sisters. ;)

The three, costume-less, checking out their loot after we got home!! They scored for sure. And that was just our block.. And to think by Halloween next year, the next phase of our development will be done.

So Friday was a success! Saturday afternoon, we took the girls to my parents, and then Steph and I headed to a RockBand Halloween party.

So here is Steph as Robert Smith from the Cure..

And myself as Avril Lavigne..
Not too shabby for very last minute costumes. ;) We are already planning next year's costumes - Johnny Cash and Janis Joplin!!

So now, Halloween decorations are down and packed away, and we wait until December and hang up all the Christmas stuff. Halloween is just too short.
