No Volume Control

While there is probably paper work still to be done, it's been confirmed... Ellie will probably be a 1st grader next year. :)

We knew Ellie might have troubles in JK. She's smart and loves learning, so she has been learning right along Kat with Kat's homework. We were thrilled to find out that Ellie's class was going to be split jk/sk class. And then when the school finally got the classes permenant teacher, we were thrilled to meet her and find out that she was altering her classes learning practices to better suit kids like Ellie, so Ellie was able to work at her level while other jk's were able to work at their level and no one felt frustrated. Soon enough, Ellie would tell us that she was doing the same seat work as her best friend - and her best friend is a sk student. So we knew that her teacher was letting her work on what she knew Ellie could do. And at home, Ellie would "help" Kat with her homework - though we discouraged that and i would print of work for her to do - her current favourite is Math work.

So September '09, we will have a 1st grader, and a 2nd grader.. :)
