A first for this trip. Today, we did not change hotels, so no packing everything up, no checking out, no planning on getting to the next hotel. :)

After a very lazy morning, we headed to Smitty's for a late breakfast. Girls enjoyed being able to sit down to a real breakfast for a change. Dany surprised us all, when she finished first and then proceeded to eat more from other people's plates.

We then had to visit a few stores because I made a costly error by forgetting my camera charger, so we had to buy a new one, or today would have been the last day of taking pictures. We did find one, so all is well in the camera world again. :)

By now, it was early afternoon, and we were still pretty lazy, but decided that we had to do something. So first stop.. Cow's Ice Cream factory!! :) Unfortunately they were not making ice cream that day, but the tour was still very interesting, and we did get to sample their "wowie-cowie" ice cream. O.M.G - that ice cream is absolutely amazing! So yummy! All of us cannot wait to have it again.

Pit stop at the hotel, and then we headed downtown. Our plan was to wander around the shops on the Wharf, have dinner, and then head back to the hotel for a decent bedtime. Plans tend to be just a guideline when on holidays though. We did wander around the Wharf - looked at the shops, played in the touch tank, listened to some live music. And then we headed to Founder's hall - where they had a really neat walking tour back through time about how and when Canada became Canada. The older two found it really interesting, and learned a lot (and probably retained a little). After that, we made the decision that supper could wait a little longer, so we could go on a Mouse Hunt. It's a treasure hunt that the city set up based on the book "The True Meaning of Crumbfest", and the mouse, Eckhart is the main character. In the girls' opinion, that was the best part of downtown Charlottetown.
Finally supper time. Headed to East Side Mario's for a late supper.. and once again, Dany surprised and amazed us by not only finishing her meal, but finished it first (even with a bathroom break!). Wow!

Another late night after another fun filled day. :)
